Why Brownie Helps exists
We don't sell software access. We install machines that quietly run the audience and growth ops most businesses keep meaning to build.
Folklore had brownies — household spirits who handled the chores while everyone slept. You woke up to a clean hearth and you didn't see the work. We took the idea seriously.
Most of the businesses we work with have one thing in common: they live on content, community, and recurring attention. Creators, studios, D2C brands, restaurants, dental offices, newsletters, communities. Different industries, same underlying problem.
The pattern we kept seeing
Owners who are excellent at the thing they make. Less excellent at the systems around it. The distribution doesn't run consistently. The email list doesn't get nurtured. The leads come in and sit. Attribution is a guess. By the time the system gets built, the launch is over.
The standard answers — hire an agency, hire a junior, buy software — each fail in their own way. Agencies are expensive and slow. Juniors take six months to ramp. Software gives you a UI to do the work yourself, which is what you were trying to escape.
What we install instead
We install a machine. A landing page that captures audience. Email automations that nurture without sounding like a bot. Cold outreach that holds your voice. A dashboard your team can see into. A brand kit dropped in by week one. Real install work, in real days — not a 14-day trial.
Underneath all of this are the Brownies — named AI workers, each owning a specific job. Intake Brownie learns your business. Website Brownie captures audience. Sales Brownie brings in demand. Nurture/LTV Brownie keeps it close. Astrid, our AI Chief of Staff, coordinates between them. Derek steps in for the high-stakes moments.
What you're actually buying
Not features. Consistency. Distribution. Audience capture. An owned audience that doesn't live on a platform. Faster execution. Less wasted time. Compounding attention. The reason to install the machine isn't the machine — it's the compounding.
Why we say no to free trials
Every engagement involves real installation work. We don't run a trial-driven SaaS funnel. We install, then we run. For creators we start with a discovery call. For brands and studios we offer a paid pilot or diagnostic that credits toward setup if we continue. That's the most honest version of the relationship.
Where we're going
V1 is four Brownies. V2 adds Content, Community, Reporting, Support, and full Attribution. The end state is a small light software product on top of a service delivery engine — but only after the service catches every edge the software wouldn't have.
If your business depends on recurring attention and you don't have an internal systems operator running distribution, capture, nurture, and attribution as one continuous machine — that's the gap we fill.
